To use the Stolen Vehicle Assistance service, you must fill out a police report and obtain a case number before contacting the Mitsubishi Connect Customer Care Center for assistance locating your vehicle.
For your protection and privacy, Mitsubishi Connect provides vehicle location information only to law enforcement authorities based on verified stolen vehicle cases. Please contact the Mitsubishi Connect Customer Care Center for further details:

Note: If you press the back arrow to return to the previous screen, your entries are saved.
The Mitsubishi Connect Customer Care Center will place your vehicle into a stolen-vehicle tracking mode. This mode allows the call center to track your vehicle's location with frequent updates and to coordinate with law enforcement. Please note that other optional services in the mobile app may be disabled at this time.
After initiating the call with customer care, stolen-vehicle tracking mode remains enabled for 30 days.
When the vehicle has been recovered, and you are ready to begin driving it again, the Mitsubishi Connect Customer Care Center must disable the stolen-vehicle tracking mode before you can resume driving.
Model Year 2025 and newer Outlander vehicles are also equipped with Stolen Vehicle Tracking with Engine Start Blocking technology. This feature enables law enforcement to work directly with a Mitsubishi Connect care agent to locate a verified stolen vehicle and remotely prevent an unauthorized driver from restarting the vehicle.
Important Considerations:
- The vehicle must have a cellular connection for Stolen Vehicle Tracking and Engine Start Blocking to function. If the vehicle is in an area with limited or no cellular access, the feature may not activate or disable engine starting as intended.
- Once Engine Start Blocking is enabled, the vehicle will remain inoperable until it is manually disabled through remote connectivity. If the vehicle becomes unreachable due to connectivity loss, the owner may need to tow the vehicle to a location with adequate network access at their own expense to restore functionality.
- This feature is designed to enhance vehicle security but requires owner consent before activation.
