Vehicle Status is supported on certain models of Outlander and Outlander PHEV vehicles:
- Certain models of the 2022 and newer Outlander, and 2023 and newer Outlander PHEV vehicles support both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The vehicle status report can retrieve status information from your vehicle. The information retrieved includes:
- General vehicle status information, such as mileage history and vehicle speed.
- Warning information, such as braking system issues, tire pressure, and distance to empty.
To view the vehicle status from the Mitsubishi car infotainment screen, you must fulfill the requirements listed below:
- You must be a registered user in the My Mitsubishi Connect App.
- You must have an active Mitsubishi Connect subscription package.
- You must have a vehicle that is supported by Mitsubishi Connect and that has factory-equipped Android Auto or Apple CarPlay support.
- You must use an Android smartphone or Apple iPhone.
- Connect the phone to the vehicle via a USB cable or wireless CarPlay (applicable to certain 2022 and newer Outlander and Outlander PHEV models only).
- On the infotainment screen, select My Mitsubishi Connect App from the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto home screen. The Vehicle Status main menu appears.
- Scroll through the main menu to view the items available, and touch the item for its status.
- If you have more than one vehicle, along the top of the page, select "Vehicles" and then touch the vehicle you are interested in.
- You can refresh the status items by touching "Refresh."
