You can create a Charging Schedule by using the My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile App. This is useful if you want to charge the vehicle during off-peak hours when electrical rates are lower.
You can set the schedule to operate on a particular date and time, or regularly at a certain time of day during the week.
You enter the time range when you want the charger to operate and then plug in the charger. The time range must be at least 10 minutes. You can set up to three timers.
For example, you could set a timer for Sunday night to Thursday night to start charging at 11:00PM and stop charging at 4:00AM.
Once you have set up and enabled at least one Charging Schedule Timer, charging will occur only during the specified hours. Even if you plug in the charger, charging will not start until the Start Time. If you wish to plug in and start charging immediately, then use the mobile app to start the charger remotely.
Using the infotainment menu screen, you can optionally register a location that you use for charging. For example, if you charge your vehicle primarily at home, you can register your home as a charging location. If you want to execute scheduled charging only at the registered location, turn on "Timer Works Only at Home" on the infotainment menu screen.
Note: You can set the Charging Schedule using the mobile app or using the infotainment screen. For information on using the infotainment screen, please refer to your Owner's Manual.
