The My Mitsubishi Connect software in the vehicle is updated periodically. A message will appear on the infotainment menu screen asking if you would like to update the software.
When you say yes, it is important to not drive the vehicle during the software update. You must keep the engine running, park in a ventilated area, and turn on the parking brake.
If you need to drive the vehicle before the update is completed, the software update will be canceled and you will need to restart the software update process later.
If you turn off the engine while the update is in progress, the update will attempt to resume downloading and installation the next time the car engine is turned on again and the parking brake is turned on.
