The My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile App can notify you via email, SMS text message, or mobile phone push whenever a particular event occurs.
When you register and use My Mitsubishi Connect for the first time, three types of notifications are created automatically: Email, SMS, and Push. Email and Push notifications are enabled by default and all event types are turned on. SMS is not turned on. You can create and customize your own notifications also; please see To create a notification below.
Push notifications have one restriction: you cannot turn off Immediate Climate notifications. “Immediate Climate” refers to starting the Climate remotely. Except for Immediate Climate, you can deselect any other event type that you do not want to be notified about. For safety reasons, you will always be notified about Immediate Climate events.
If you choose to toggle off all Push notifications, please note that Immediate Climate Push notifications will remain on.
Access your account by using the My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile App or the Mitsubishi Owner's Portal.
My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile App
To update your preferences:
1. Sign in to your account on the My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile App.
2. Select "Account Settings" by selecting the gear icon on the home screen.
3. Select "Notifications."
To create a notification:
1. Select "+".
2. On the Channels screen, choose how you want to be notified of an event by selecting Email or SMS text message.
Note: Mitsubishi asks you to confirm that they can contact you. Select "PROCEED."
3. On the Add Notification screen, make your selections from the toggle on and off and other options listed.
4. Select "SAVE."
To change a notification:
1. Select the notification that you want to change.
2. On the Edit Notification screen, make your selections from the toggle on and off and other options listed.
3. Select "SAVE."
To enable or disable a notification:
1. Navigate to the Notifications page.
2. Touch the toggle on the right side of the screen to enable or disable each notification.
To delete an email or SMS notification preference:
1. Select the notification that you want to change.
2. Select the trash can icon, and then confirm your choice.
Mitsubishi Owner’s Portal
To update your preferences:
1. Sign in to your account on the Mitsubishi Owner’s Portal using your preferred internet browser.
2. Select the "My Garage" tab.
3. Scroll down and sign in to Mitsubishi Connect.
4. Select "Notifications."
To create a notification:
1. Select "Add Notification".
2. Choose how you want to be notified of an event by selecting Email or SMS text message.
3. On the Add Notification screen, fill out the form and make your selections using the checkboxes listed.
4. Select "SAVE CHANGES."
To change a notification:
1. Locate the notification that you want to change and select the "+" next to "See Details."
2. On the Edit Notification screen, make your selections using the checkboxes listed.
3. Select "SAVE CHANGES."
To enable or disable a notification:
1. Navigate to the Notifications page.
2. Touch the toggle on the right side of each notification box to enable or disable the notification.
To delete an email or SMS notification preference:
1. Locate the notification that you want to delete.
2. Select the trash can icon, and then confirm your choice.
